I took early retirement a few years ago from the mental health field in order to spend more time with my new grandaughter in Thailand, my mother in a nursing home and my only sibling, a sister, living with and dying of ovarian cancer. I have one daughter and two sons and all are teachers. The two sons teach or have taught in international baccelaureate schools in Bangkok, Thailand and I have spent short and extended amounts of time in Thailand for the last 10 years. Now that I am retired I am getting into some put aside interests such as writing on my first book, crochete, jigsaw puzzles, antiques and being a grandma.
